Jewelry Specialists
Every piercing appointment includes time with a jewelry specialist who will help guide you through the jewelry selection process.
Acting as your personal stylist, they will take you through our vast jewelry collection, showcase our different metals and gemstones options, make thoughtful recommendations, and help you achieve your dream look.

Piercers
Our piercers are experts in their field — providing decades of experience and a commitment to continued education in technique and safe practices.
All piercers at Dorje Adornments are proud members of the Association of Professional Piercers.
Each of our piercers keeps up to date with their First aid, CPR and Bloodborne pathogens training.
Jewelry Insertion
Looking for new jewelry for your existing piercing? Our body jewelry comes in many different sizes, allowing us to ensure a perfect fit every time. Due to the intricate nature of body jewelry, it can be difficult to insert and remove yourself. This appointment allows us to take care of styling, sizing, and insertion for you.
Jewelry Specialists
A jewelry specialist will help guide you through the jewelry selection process and help you find the perfect pieces. They will walk you through different metals and gemstones, leaving you informed and confident about your new jewelry.
Piercers
Our piercers will ensure the perfect fit for the piece that you picked out. In addition, they will take care of inserting the jewelry into your piercing with tools to maximize comfort and ensure a secure fit.

Ear Styling
With our captivating selection of white, yellow, and rose gold jewelry, we can effortlessly incorporate both your existing and new piercings into a new look that matches your lifestyle and aesthetic.
This appointment is perfect for those who already have many healed piercings and need a little more time and assistance with reimagining a new, cohesive look.
Jewelry Specialists
Our team will discuss your aesthetic, vision and goals when it comes to what you are looking for in a jewelry collection. This includes updating pieces in your existing piercings as well as assisting you with jewelry for any new piercings that you have in mind.
Piercers
During a styling appointment, your piercer will work in collaboration with your jewelry specialist. Taking your existing piercings into consideration, your piercer will offer suggestions for new piercings that complement your individual anatomy.
No need to worry, we will take care of securing all of your new pieces in and have you walking out of here feeling your best!
Children’s Piercings
We offer appointments for our clients under the age of 11 in two scheduled appointments, a consultation appointment and a piercing appointment. With our unwavering commitment to professionalism and our client’s well-being, we ensure that your child's ear piercing experience is not only safe but memorable!
The consultation appointment allows children to familiarize themselves with the space and offers the opportunity for them to connect with their piercer and ask questions beforehand! Our team will also assist you and your child with picking out jewelry and reviewing pricing ahead of your child’s piercing.
Minor Services (Ages 11-17)
Piercing is an act of self expression! We offer many of our piercing and insertion services to ages 6-17, allowing your child (or you, hello!) to receive their dream piercing while offering you the peace of mind that it was done by experts in a safe, sterile, and inclusive environment.
Ages 6-14+
We offer earlobe piercings only to those ages 14 and under. This is the easiest to heal ear piercing and allows you to better understand the process and healing of getting a new piercing.
Ages 15+
We offer most cartilage, nostril, septum, and navel piercings to those ages 15 and over.
Ages 16+
Those that are ages 16+ can receive any of the above piercings as well as eyebrow piercings.
Ages 18+
There are a few of our piercings and insertions that are not offered to minors, including difficult to heal cartilage piercings like snugs and industrials, tongue piercings, and nipple piercings.
Please note that there are no exceptions to our age requirements, even with parental consent. All age requirements refer to piercing and insertion service. We outline our age limits by piercing on our Pricing and Service Menu, found at the link below.
Browsing and Shopping
Fine Jewelry
Dorje Adornments carries a wide variety of ready-to-wear jewelry including earrings with traditional backs, necklaces, charms, and finger rings from some of our favorite fine jewelry designers. We welcome you to book an appointment to shop these pieces with one of our jewelry specialists!
Body Jewelry Browsing
This appointment is also perfect for those who want to browse our body jewelry ahead of time to see our selection and to get a better idea of pricing. To make the most of our extensive collection, browsing beforehand can always be helpful!
With these appointments, any jewelry purchased will be taken to go. We will not have a piercer available to insert, size or properly fit your jewelry. If you would like your jewelry custom fit and inserted securely by one of our piercers please schedule an insertion appointment.
If you are purchasing jewelry for someone else, a gift card can be a great alternative!
Downsizing
Shortening the length of the post on your new piercings (Downsizing) is crucial — It prevents your piercing angles from shifting over time and can assist in preventing irritation caused by the excess length of your post once swelling has subsided.
Don’t worry — If you were pierced at Dorje, we’ll send you an email when it’s time for your piercing to be downsized!
Piercing Checkups
If you are concerned about a piercing we did, please call or text the studio at 585-775-9182.
Your experience at Dorje doesn’t end after you leave the studio! We offer complimentary checkup appointments for those pierced at Dorje if you are experiencing any discomfort with your piercing, or if you just want to follow up with your piercer.
If your piercing was done at another studio, not a problem! If we did not do the piercing we will try our best to offer solutions, however this may include purchasing implant-grade jewelry or a complete removal.
Removals/MRI Prep
We offer seamless removals of body jewelry, giving you the peace of mind that it was done in a sterile environment while ensuring your jewelry isn’t damaged in the process.
If you have an upcoming MRI or procedure, we would be happy to remove your jewelry and insert biocompatible piercing retainers to ensure your piercing stays open. If you have a last minute procedure, please call the studio at 585-775-9182 and our team will do their best to get you in ASAP.
