OUR STORY
Dorje Adornments began in Rochester in 2006, in a small carriage house on Alexander Street. It started as a studio and developed into a focused approach to piercing.
Founded by Nick, Rochester’s first member of the Association of Professional Piercers, the studio was built on the idea that adornment is a form of self-definition. The studio exists as a place to explore that process.
Piercing is approached with care, precision, and consistency. Safety, material standards, and technical practice form the foundation. Each interaction is considered. Every detail is intentional.
Dorje Adornments now resides on Park Avenue, set within a historic building. The studio is arranged across two floors with dedicated piercing rooms and an expansive selection of both body jewelry and a curated selection of fine jewelry.
Dorje Adornments continues as a practice shaped by experience and grounded in community. Community, education, and attention to detail remain central to the work.
